A temporary VNC instance that self-installs and self-removes after session. Must
call to make an appt and request we open VNC Viewer in 'Listen Mode' on our
workstation that you are requesting on the link above.
Option A. Guided/Interactive
Demo/Training - Browser Based Click

(Must allow ActiveX controls. Tools->Internet Options->'Advanced'
tab->click 'Trusted Sites' tab, enable all under 'ActiveX controls
and plugins' except select 'prompt' for 'unsigned' and 'not maked as
safe')
(Microsoft VM (Java) or Sun Java
must be installed. Will be present in Tools->Internet Options->'Advanced'
tab. If not present, install this.
Option B. Guided/Interactive Demo/Training - VNC
INSTALLATION:
Requires VNC
Download Click "Self installing package for Windows".
A dialog box should come up asking you to Run or Save. Click 'Run'
button. A security dialog box will come up asking you if
you want to Run, click 'Run' button. click 'Next' button.
On
installation, keep default directories, select "Full Installation"
(keep all check boxes checked). Click 'Next' button.
On 'Additional Tasks' screen, CHECK 'Associate
VNC files..', LEAVE OTHER CHECK BOXES UNCHECKED. Clcik 'Next' button.
Finish up installation.
To view our server:
ON EACH CONNECTION:
Ask us to launch TightVNC Server
on our server.
From your computer, click 'Start' button ->
select 'TightVNC' -> 'Tight VNC Viewer (Best Compression)'.
Enter demo.automateyourprocess.net,
click 'Options', uncheck Custom Compression, check 'Allow JPEG compression',
enter value of 6. Click 'Ok', click 'Ok'.
For us to control your computer:
SETUP:
You must manually open up port 5500 in Windows Firewall.
(Port 5900 should open and be added automatically the first time you
launch 'TightVNC Server'. Port 5800 must be manaully opened for a browser
client
to connect)
Start->Control Panel->double-click
Windows Firewall-> click 'Exceptions' tab->click'Add port'
Enter in
the 'name' field: vnc viewer listen mode
• enter in the 'port' field: 5500
• 'TCP' radio button should be selected. Click 'Ok'
button. Click 'Ok' button. Close out of 'Control Panel'.
ON EACH CONNECTION:
Ask us to start the TightVNC (Listen mode) on our server.
From your computer, click 'Start' button -> select 'TightVNC' -> 'Launch
TightVNC Server'.
Right-click the V icon in your system tray (next to clock). Left-click
'Add new client'. Enter in demo.automateyourprocess.net . Click 'Ok'
button.
We will receive your screen. You can see any activity we perform
on your system.
Option C. Self Demo - PubManager Web site Click

SETUP:
Some web browser settings for Microsoft Internet Explorer may need
to be changed. The following settings are important:
Step 1a. Go to Tools
-> Security -> Click Trusted Sites icon
Step 1b.
Click 'Sites' tab-> type in
http://demo.automateyourprocess.net
Click 'Add' button -> Click 'Close' button.
Step 1c. Click 'Custom Level' button -> Select 'Enable' for
the following:
• .NET Framework-reliant components "Run components signed with Authenticode"
• Downloads: "File download"
• Miscellaneous:
"Allow Meta Refresh"
• Miscellaneous: "Display Mixed Content"
•
Miscellaneous: "Launching
Program and Files in IFrame"
• Scripting: "Active Scripting"
• Scripting: "Allow paste operations via script"
• Scripting: "Scripting of Java applets"
Click 'Ok'
button.
Step 1d. Click on 'Privacy' tab. If 'turn on pop-up blocker' is checked, then
click 'Settings' button, type http://demo.automateyourprocess.net, click 'Add'
then 'Close'.
